Name: Stuart 'Goodfella' Staples
Flavour:

Funky / Uplifting / Vocal / Tough - Progressive house.

Profile:

Stuart Staples is a mature and dedicated professional with over 8 years experience as a DJ in the dance music scene. His adaptable and varied musical styles, insatiable enthusiasm for music and highly successful self-promoted nights, more than justify his rise within the clubbing scene.

His successes over the last 4 years have supported his transition from a competent British DJ to an outstanding International Act who has supported and played alongside a growing number of top class and highly respected DJ’s. His passion for sound has driven him to create new, fresh and original tracks, ranging across the varied spectrum of the House genre. His first two tracks named “NEW TIME” and “DOMINO”, have been tried and tested at a number of different clubs including EMPORIUM, KL (16/2/02), where they went down a storm!

More recently Stuart has teamed up with long term friend Chris Stapleton to create and launch a variety of house releases including The Divine uk e.p's “SWEET LOVE”, “FREE LOVE”, “Makes everything ok ”, ”Sanctuary” , “Supasonic Supastar” and “Flavios Piano ”.

Having earned fame and respect running his own self promoted 'DIVINE UK' events, Stuart took the night international and launched in New Zealand. In NZ, as in the UK, the Divine parties are a huge success, always running at full capacity.

Stuart’s extensive experience and expertise has also been utilised by Vinyl Playground for whom Stuart has judged a number of different DJ competitions at Bar 2 Sixty in Birmingham, and has more recently been headhunted to judge a new DJ competition in Leicester, organised by Strictly Groovy.

Stuart has travelled the world working as a full time DJ, spending a large amount of time in and around Australasia and East Asia (numerous bookings and residencies). He also ran two weekly radio shows, 'Funk and Drive', and the 'Progression Sessions' on Firm FM in Wellington, New Zealand, sponsored by Vurtigo / Stella Artios.

Stuart is renowned for his endless energy and power whilst Djing. By giving 200% in every appearance, Stuart has the outstanding ability to consistently read the crowds and delivers and exceeds expectations at every step. At christmas he has been rebooked for a five-week Asia and Australia DJ tour, and also has may bookings for this year for the UK.

Making his debut last year at the Euphoria Dance Beach Party in Zante, Stuart headlined a 3 date beach party in June and August 2004, and already this year Stuart has secured a slot playing for Club Supreme for Smile in Vauxhall, London and they have asked him back to play 2 more dates including NYE, with other future bookings on the horizon.

Stuart welcomes DJ bookings from all over the globe...
he has no commitments, is willing to travel to enhance his career within the club circuit, and is looking for new breaks and opportunities throughout the world to enable him to enhance his reputation and satisfy his desire to succeed.
