American Deep, Soulful, Underground House
|
Oscar Lindahl, is 19 years old and was born in Southern Spain in 1990.
He started his academic career at The Swedish School of Fuengirola.
At the age of 15, Oscar accompanied his father, who was a passionate
sailor on
cruise around the Caribbean for 9 months. This
wasn’t only where his passion for sailing came to light, but
his
passion for House music also.
To prepare himself for the 9 month trip
Oscar brought many compilations of house music, which became very
useful in
times of boredom. It started to interest him, and within a short time
it became
his favourite music.
Coming back to land the only thought Oscar had was to start mixing his
own
music, and to create his own sound. Ambitiously he earned money to
finance his first DJ set. This hobby soon became more of an obsession
towards
music and it was at this stage that Oscar realized that music would
control my life.
He left school to sign himself up for a DJ academy in Malaga, Spain -
he
joined the course for advanced DJ´s.
Having finished the course with excellence, many job offers and
opportunities came to show.
He chose the best opportunity:- Studio 10. Oscar was offered
the residency, which he took, as not only the location / club was
fabulous,
but he also got to play his own style of music (Deep and Upfront House
music).
On Sundays he would play at Puro beach with DJ Vas at
Love2Lounge.
This certainly gave him the right experience he needed for
his next step in his career:- which is to produce his own music - Oscar
is now studying electronic music production in London.
In addition Oscar will be looking for a residency in one of the many
outstanding clubs in London just to make sure he will keep on
progressing with his knowledge and skills as a DJ.
