It was during a particularly good Eric Morillo set at Sanky's that Michael saw the light and set his mind, body and soul on a career as a DJ. Inspired by the style and energy of Morillo, Michael says that his greatest satisfaction is to take to the decks while the dance-floor is empty and to have it totally pumping by the time he leaves.

Whilst his sound is firmly 'funky', Michael has recently started to include electro elements, as he sees the house scene moving in that direction and he 'won't be left behind!'. His long term ambition is to play in as many different countries as possible... 'I really believe I'm going to do it, because I love my work and my many good friends would never let me stop!'. Given the speed with which Michael has established himself as hot property in the midlands club scene, we have every faith in him!

His first residency was back in 2004 at the Voodoo Lounge, Preston. At the end of 2004 he then became resident at Queer Bar, Manchester on Saturday nights. As this was linked to Essential nightclub it wasn't long before he was warming up there.

He then moved to Spirit, Manchester, playing Saturday nights. He's played many big events at Spirit inlcuding Federation warm up parties and Manchester Pride.

In summer 2005 he played at Europe’s biggest gay festival,
Big Gay Out, with over 10,000 people.

He was then asked to DJ for Breakfast Club at Manto, Manchester. Following this he is now playing there at least once a month. At around the same time Michael started playing at Revolution, Wood St, Liverpool and now has a residency every Wednesday and Thursday 9 till 2, and every Saturday 7 till 10 depending on club gigs.

Michael has progressed into the club scene starting this year with Green, Preston in February. Also in March Michael made his debut at Club North, Manchester for Plush.

Michael is also set for big things this year securing his residency at all the 2nd 2 None events including:
