Filtroniks (Damien & Joe) have been djing together for eight years. Originally playing mainly Hard House under the name of ‘The Usual Suspects’, they have performed at numerous clubs and bars throughout Ireland.
Talented DJs individually, their combined skills make them a force to be reckoned with... In addition to regular guest slots on Midlands Radio 3, in 2003 they came runners-up in the Cream / 2fm National Irish DJ search competition for Creamfields.
In recent years their musical taste has moved towards tough funky electro-influenced house. In recognition of their changing focus, in 2005 they rebranded themselves as ‘Filtroniks’ - and whilst their musical style has evolved, they've retained their versatility, intensity, and commitment to excellent technique.
When not performing live, they can be found in the studio where they are currently producing material for a spanking new EP.
Poised to break into the big-time, they’re looking for every opportunity to show what they can do… and we're certain that they won't disappoint...
A high-quality act with a fine ear for a tune and a deft touch on the decks, Filtroniks can be relied upon to deliver a no-nonsense sound with a clean top-end and compulsive funky bassline.
Clued-up beats for clued-up clubbers...
