At the age of 15 "DJ 4 Real" found his passion for music. Starting with
Hip Hop and Rave he developed his turntable trickery, teaching himself
to mix and scratch to perfection.
He then moved
onto Drum and Bass and while
playing this genre made it to the final of a competition held at The
Pleasure Dome.
"DJ 4 Real" has
entertained audiences with
everything from Garage, Speed Garage, Dance, House, Hard House and is
now playing Trance, Hard Trance and Drum and Bass.
On the 13th
August 2003 he was selected from
over 3000 entrants to battle it out at Turnmills in London with 9 other
DJ's in the Serious Mixing Competition. Judges included Anne Savage,
Yomanda and the Disco Brothers. They awarded him 2nd place on the
night, although many of the guests commented that in their eyes he was
the winner.
In 1996 he
secured a permanent residency at
Pulse Nightclub in Loughborough, where he played every weekend until
February 2004.
This year he is
appearing regularly at clubs
in Malia and also played at the "Echo 2nd Summer Boat Party" on 10th
July.
So far the high
light of his career has been
winning the N-Vision "So U Wanna Be A DJ??" competition on 3rd July
2004, being crowned champion fo his outstanding DJ skills. Details of
this are to published in the August 2004 edition of "DJ Mag".
With such a
diverse range of musical styles
under his belt, "DJ 4 Real" is also able to bring the best of
everything together to provide a totally unique style with faultless
mixing and creative scratching enhancing each track he plays to its
possible best and making his sets exciting and memorable.
